  A wonderful time full of information about these amazing animals, as well as lots of of amusing stories along the way. Mick and Lynda are incredible hosts who had our attention from the moment we arrived where we were warmly greeted by Lynda, then Mick gave us a brief rundown of the history of the longhorn, followed by a yummy morning tea of home made delights including damper and Billy tea. Our next adventure was our wagon ride to visit the cattle, including the longhorn, highland cows, buffalo and the award winning JR before Lynda took us to the "love shack" to explain the technique of artificial insemination. Our final stop was the saddlery where Lynda explained the intricacies of saddle making before we were let loose in the gift shop. A huge thank you to Mick and Lynda and this should be a must for anyone in the Charters Towers district. Well done!

  The hosts, Linda and Michael,were exceptional with their hospitality. Such genuine people,willing to share their dreams. The property is well maintained, well run, a credit to Linda and Michael's passion for long horn cattle. Would thoroughly recommend that when in the Charters Towers area, a visit is well worth it.

  Friendly, informative, and very enjoyable half day. Tasty damper and a yarn to start, some time saying Hello to some animals, an explanation of the farm's husbandry, a tour of the saddlery, and a waggon tour through the paddocks. Not a cheap day out, but very well set up, and time well spent.
